'Monster' is the first single from the upcoming collaborative project between Kanye West and Jay-Z and also features Rick Ross, indie-artist Bon Iver and the beast Nicki Minaj. Nicki's verse is stupid sick on the track. I guess Kanye is keeping his "good music fridays" promise.

Trey Songz debuted the video for his new single "Bottoms Up" yesterday on 106 & Park. The song features none other than Nicki Minaj aka Roman Zolanski and is from Trey's upcoming album, Passion, Pain & Pleasure. The video was directed by Anthony Mandler.

New Music: Fantasia's Leaked Homewrecking Anthem, 'Lucky'

I washed my hands of this whole Fantasia-Antwaun Cook thing a long time ago, but for Fantasia to make a song like this is actually blowin' mines. She obviously has no shame in her game in the pursuit of another woman's husband and "Lucky" is now dubbed the homewrecking theme of 2010.  The song pretty much narrates the recent story of her love life, glorifying the romance she had with a married man. 

"Damn, she get to have it every day. What a lucky girl! Ooohh, well tonight I'll take her place," she sings. "I'm a lucky girl! Damn, do you spread her legs this way? What a lucky girl! Ummm, you're the king at this foreplay. I'm a lucky girl!" 

The song was reportedly taken from a recording session of her new album, Back To Me, but didn't make the cut. The album is expected to be released on August 24 and reportedly won't be delayed despite the affair scandal.  

Teairra Mari Releases 'Point Of No Return' Mixtape

 Call it a comeback? Not really sure, but the former princess of the Roc, Teairra Mari, just released her mixtape Point Of No Return today. The mixtape includes some of her original tracks and her spin at some hits by Drake and Jay-Z. Hosted by DJ Drama, Teairra notes that the mixtape is something for the fans until her second album is released, which does not yet have a date set. "Most of the songs were getting leaked and it was just like, we have to go back to the drawing board for the album because I don’t want to put something out that everybody’s already heard. So I decided that I needed to give my fans something because they bang me upside the head like, ‘Hey, when’s the album coming out?," Mari stated.

 As far as other things going on for her, you can catch her in the movie "Lottery Ticket" starring Bow Wow and Ice Cube August 27. She has also been spotted out and about lately at parties and mixing it up with other celebs.

New Official Video: T.I. (feat. Keri Hilson) "Got Your Back"

It's all about holdin' each other down in this video that follows a couple's loyalty through the good and bad times. The song "Got Your Back" is the single from T.I.'s latest project King Uncaged , which hits stores September 28th and features Miss Keri Baby on the hook. Keri Hilson's dancing annoys me. But anyway this song grew on me because I can definitely relate. T.I's real ride or die, Tameka "Tiny" Cottle makes a cameo at the end. Lance Gross and "Girlfriends" Jill Marie Jones also star in the video. "I got, I got, I got, I got yo back boy."

"Gimme That" is supposedly the next single from Ciara's 4th studio album, Basic Instinct. The song was played earlier today by DJ Envy on 105.1. The newly-revealed was produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and Soundz. Basic Instinct is scheduled to be released August 17.

Sounds like Bow Wow may have took to his rhymes to throw shade at Kat Stacks, the groupie ho that aired out numerous rappers. If you don't know, Kat Stacks was smacked up by some goons not too long ago and she believes Bow Wow and rapper Fabolous are behind it....and she made that very clear. Bow Wow recently did a remake to Tupac's classic "I Get Around" and from listening to the track, it sounds like he's coming for her. I'll let you be the judge.

Lil Wayne Won't Be Stopped

He's doing time, but that's not stopping Lil Wayne from doing what he does best.....making music. He has FOUR videos that will be debuted this week. Two of the new videos were released this weekend. The first one, "Knockout", features Nicki Minaj. It features a cameo from the Birdman and was directed by Jeffrey Panzer and Wayne himself.

 

The second one, "Runnin", features label mate Shanell. "The song is talking about running and [asking] when will whatever it is that you're going through that's not a positive thing end. So 'Runnin' ' is about wanting whatever it is in your life to stop,"explains Shanell.

When I heard this song, I fell in love. It's dedicated to all the ladies that stand by their man no matter what, thick and thin - and I know there are a lot of ride or die chicks out there (including me). Keri Hilson adds a nice touch to the song. This is T.I.'s radio single from his seventh album King Uncaged, which will be released August 17. Polow Da Don produced the track.

I understand that singer/producer The Dream is creative and what not, but to make over the classic, "One In A Million", is ridiculous to me. That was and still is one of my favorite songs by Aaliyah (who tragically died in a plane crash in 2001). Some things need NOT be tampered with.

Diggy: "What They Waiting For" Video (Hot Or Not?)

I'm not gonna lie when I first found out Reverend Run's other son wanted to a rapper, I thought "umm no". I thought he just had a passion for fashion. Most people know Rev's oldest son JoJo Simmons made an attempt in that regard #epicfail. But surprisingly, I'm liking Diggy Simmons' flow. His new viral video for "What They Waiting For" is simple but I'm feeling it. His flow is on point. You be the judge. Check out the vid, with his little cute self.

New Official Video: Alicia Keys "Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready)"

"Unthinkable" is the third single from The Element Of Freedom. This song definitely grew on me. The video, which has a "love is blind" element to it, was directed by Jake Nava. Chad Michael Murray plays Alicia's love interest. I love how the video actually depicts what the SONG is about.....loving each other no matter what the circumstance is.
