Timbaland: "I Didn't Know What People Were Talking About", Denies Suicide Attempt

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The media went crazy today with reports that Grammy-award winning music producer/artist Timbaland made a suicide attempt because someone stole his $2 million watch. His family called police after he went missing following the theft, according to TMZ. When I heard this, I thought it was absolutely ludicrous but Timbo is denying any attempts at ending his life. After he was located by police, Timbaland called in and spoke with Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 KIIS FM’s "On-Air With Ryan Seacrest".
"I don’t know what happened. To be honest with you, I don’t even know what people were talking about. The only thing that I did was take a drive to figure out how to handle it. I tell people that if my mom ain’t calling or my brother or my best friend, then ain’t nothing to worry about. Why would I commit suicide? I could buy what was stolen. You know it’s close in your family when it’s things in your house."
Timbaland also stated that it WASN'T a watch that was stolen and that he has been a victim of theft a number of times.

Lauren London Wants You To Know....

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

.....she is NOT doin' another woman's man and keep her child's name out your damn mouth. MediaTakeOut (whose known for making up stories for page hits) made accusations of Lauren London stealing 23-year old football player Orlando Scandrick (who plays for the Dallas Cowboys) away from his fiancé AND that she accompanied him from Las Vegas to Atlanta with her son in tow. She took to her twitter page to clear things up because she is NOT playing games when it comes to her son Cameron, who she had with rapper Lil Wayne.

She also added, "Just had to clear that up. I usually ignore rumors but that one is just crazy and completely false."

Aubrey O'Day Keeps It Real, Talks Life After Danity Kane

Many think Aubrey O'Day was just the wild child of Danity Kane, but to me she was the realest in the group. Danity Kane has been done for a while now, but the 26-year old recently spoke with Global Grind about life after success in the Bad Boy platinum-selling group.
On Diddy and Making The Band:
"I never realized how much Diddy and that entire Making The Band situation shielded us from and took care of  us. I mean I had no idea what was going on until I had to step out there on my own with nobody protecting me. It is a whole other ball game. I mean we had everything handed to us in that situation and we really mostly could focus on our talent and focus on the enjoyment of what we were doing even though [Danity Kane] still found ways to not do that."

 On The Hard Days:
"I’m never going to front like there has never been hard days, there have been many hard days and I think for anyone in this industry there’s ups and there’s downs. I just quoted one of Jay-Z’s songs the other day, the Hollywood song. It said something like the only thing that matters in the industry is where you’re sitting when it stops and there’s a lot of reality to that. And not even just in like a physical way, but in a mental way. You really have to be able to handle the ups and the downs and you have to be able to get yourself right."

On Life After Getting Fired:
"Until you’ve hustled on your own or been completely on your own... I don have an agent, I don’t have a manager, I don’t have a publicist, I don’t have any of that. I’ve done everything since being fired on my own. You know, like I said. I do it on my hardest days for the fans. There are people out there that grind every day. There are single moms out there that have two kids that are trying to figure out how to put food on the table every night. My struggle is no different than anyone else’s struggle and I’m lucky enough to be enough of a public figure to have a forum to where people listen to what I have to say and if anything, at the hardest point I want my message to be keep going, keep fighting."

On Having Regrets And Thinking It Was Over For Her:
"For so many interviews in my career I always said no I have no regrets, you know everything is all good you’ve got to learn from your mistakes and blah blah blah. Everyone has regrets there are things that everybody wishes they could have done different or understand what they understands now, it’s just a part of life but you find a place where you’re happy with the decisions you’ve made and you’re happy with where you’re at and you know it’s just one big lesson learned. And did I ever think it was all over, yeah I had my moments where I really was fighting for every last inch."

Am I The Only One NOT Surprised Christina Milian x The Dream Split?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The world seems to be in such shock that The Dream and Christina Milian have decided to seperate. The two eloped in September 2009 and had a second ceremony 3 months later. Was it quick? Hell yea it was, but I saw the signs a long time ago. It seems like after C-Mili had their daughter Violet 5 months ago, the two were never pictured together, which was strange because prior to the birth they were joined at the damn hip. So basically I just needed confirmation and Us Weekly released this statement:
"Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward,"
Saddended, my ass! If he's so distraught, why is he gettin' it in with his assistant Melissa? Radar Online released some photos of The Dream and his side piece. Many are saying the photos looked stage. Whether they're staged or not, this whole situation is some bs.

50 Cent About Diddy: "He's A B*tch" And Starts A Petition Against Him

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Fitty Cent is back to his old tricks -- running his mouth. Apparently he's at odds with Diddy over some bs that started after the BET Awards, where subliminals were thrown his way and Diddy called him a "hatin' ass crab". What better way disrespect a man than by calling him a b*tch, and on the radio at that. "Puffy is like a bitch," said 50 during an interview with DJ Semtex. "He always wants to be the hot bitch in the group. He wants to make sure he gets all the attention"

Not only is Fif calling names but he started an online petition against Diddy claiming he is using the Notorious B.I.G.’s name for profit.

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

And 50 also stated that he has explicit pictures of Diddy's squeeze Cassie that were sent to him and he could have leaked them. Really now?

The Dream: "If Christina's Tired, Call The Nanny" (Say What?)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The Dream, who has been in the midst of rumors regarding his relationship with wife Christina Milian, recently spoke with Parlour Magazine to air out some things about his marriage and daughter Violet.
On being faithful to Christina:
The-Dream: The rumors are not true and it really boils my blood. Christina and I are cool. People keep asking, ‘Why haven’t we seen you guys out together?’ I’m working, that’s why you haven’t seen us. She’s at work too in Los Angeles. The women in the pictures are actually legitimate friends of mine. The photo with me in the car and another woman… she’s a good friend who’s at my house all the time. It’s sad, because [the blogs] have humiliated her. She feels bad, I feel bad and you don’t know what that [judgement] does to that person. Who takes responsibility for that? I understand freedom of speech but if I made my living spreading rumors about people, my family wouldn’t claim me.

On baby Violet:
Violet is great, I just saw her last night. She’s three months and one week old with a definite personality. I think she’s going to be a sassy talker. Right now, she’s just long, fat and looks like me. I know Christina hates it because she’s looking at the baby like ‘Where am I? I did all the work for nine months!’

On helping out with the baby:
I don’t because my “helping out” turns into expectations. I’ll get Violet on a late night maybe one or two times, but after that, no. If Christina’s tired, call the nanny, call Violet’s granny. We got people.

I'm sorry, but that was the dumbest thing I have heard in a long time. How are you gonna limit the number of times you spend with your child a week? Or say it turns into "expectations", that's what being a father is about idiot.

Bow Wow Remakes Tupac's "I Get Around", Is He Coming For Kat Stacks?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Sounds like Bow Wow may have took to his rhymes to throw shade at Kat Stacks, the groupie ho that aired out numerous rappers. If you don't know, Kat Stacks was smacked up by some goons not too long ago and she believes Bow Wow and rapper Fabolous are behind it....and she made that very clear. Bow Wow recently did a remake to Tupac's classic "I Get Around" and from listening to the track, it sounds like he's coming for her. I'll let you be the judge.

Did Rihanna Play Drake?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

On his Thank Me Later album, Drake's song "Fireworks" has a verse about Rihanna, who asked him to write a song for her new album (which never got released). The two soon began seeing each other regularly and even had a make-out session at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in New York last year, though they never publicly confirmed their brief relationship. In the track, he says:

“I could tell it wasn’t love, I just thought you’d fuck with me/ Who could’ve predicted Lucky Strike would have you stuck with me, damn/ I kept my wits about me luckily, what happened between us that night, it always seems to trouble me/ Now all of a sudden these gossip rags wanna cover me, and you makin’ it seem like it happened that way because of me/ But I was curious, and I’ll never forget it baby, what an experience/ You could’ve been the one, but it wasn’t that serious.”

He explains what happened between them. “I was a pawn,” he candidly tells The New York Times. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.’”

In the Times article, it reveals that the song "The Resistance" is about an accidental pregnancy with a woman he was briefly involved with, who chose to end the pregnancy.

Lil Kim Speaks Her Piece On Nicki Minaj

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Lil Kim, as we all know, is the original Queen Bee and there is no mistaking that. Nicki Minaj is the one on thrown right now, with many feeling like she has jacked Kim's style from day one....and lets just say the Notorious K.I.M. is beginning to voice her opinion on the matter. Over the weekend, there was a huge buzz stemming from Lil Kim "throwing subliminals" at Nicki Minaj during a recent performance. Lil Kim spoke to Kendra G from Philly's 100.3 The Beat and had this to say about Nicki:

Gotta respect Lil Kim, she tells it like it is.

Gloria Govan (Of VH1's "Basketball Wives") Sheds Light On Her Relationship, The Other Castmates And More

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Gloria Govan, the youngest "basketball wife", may come off as the naive, black sheep of the bunch but she makes it clear she has things handled. The 24-year old mother of two and fiance of Orlando Magic player Matt Barnes talked to VH1 about her relationship, her castmates, both her and Matt's dislike of the show and more.
On her thoughts of the show and how she is portrayed:
I didn’t know the women coming into the show, so I think sometimes I may come off a little naive. I may come off as the shy-girl-in-the-background type, which is not my personality at all. I’ve never had a problem telling anybody how I feel. On the show, though, I’m being me, 100 percent real the whole time so there’s no surprises. I haven’t seen any surprises.

On being called naive by Shaunie O'Neal:
I think it’s unfortunate. I don’t think I’m naive whatsoever. For me to say that I’m the only person that Matt’s ever been with, that would be naive. But I know the man that I’m with. We have our ups and we have our downs just like everybody else does. We’ve made mistakes but we’ve grown from them and moved past them, but I definitely wouldn’t say I’m naive. I’m aware that Matt is surrounded by groupies, being away from home as often as he is, but I know the kind of man I’m with and I trust him.
On Evelyn & Jennifer saying Matt is unfaithful:
You have these grown women who have been in the game for so long, and you would think they would say, “Hey listen, Gloria, I’ve been there done that for the past 10 years and here are my stories, here is my advice, take it for what it’s worth and good luck.” Instead they have to be so persistent and try to taint our relationship. I look at it as being bitter and jealous. I’m 10 years younger than most of the cast members on the show, I’m 24-years-old, and I’m in a respectful, loving relationship, I’m getting married in August, I have two beautiful kids and a family who loves me, and a lot of them are missing a majority of those components. It’s natural for them to be envious of what I have.

Dwyane Wade's Wife Sues Gabrielle Union

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Dwyane Wade's wife is not going down without a fight and she is playing no games. It's time to pay up!! She has filed a lawsuit in Chicago against his mistress Gabrielle Union for the breakup of her marriage. According to Siohvaughn, Gabby flaunted her escapades in front of her and Dwyane's two sons, which caused "emotional distress".
Siohvaughn Wade claims actress Gabrielle Union "engaged in sexual foreplay with Dwyane Wade" in front of Wade's 8-year-old and 2-year-old sons while on an unsupervised visitation to the basketball star's Miami home, according to a suit filed Tuesday in Cook County Circuit Court.

The 8-year-old later told court appointed child representative Lester Barelay what happened and asked him "to put his father in jail..." so he would not have to return to the home, which he calls "the house where the woman kissing daddy lives," the suit said.

On one visitation, Wade allegedly orchestrated a meeting between Union and the boys, where he introduced the actress as his "girlfriend" and said "that is why your mom and I are going to divorce," according to the suit.

The boy's mother claims the sexual foreplay in front of the boys and the orchestrated meeting to introduce the children to their future stepmother caused emotional distress.

Siohvaughn Wade and the boys are seeking more than $50,000 from Union at a trial.
Read the rest here.

This is definitely a harsh divorce. Do you think Siohvaughn will win in this case?

Bad Bxtch Trina Dishes About Kenyon Martin, Nicki Minaj, The Leaked Photos And Her New Album

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Trina is a self-proclaimed "bad b*tch" and she definitely has her reasons. She's been in the game now for over a decade and is still doing her thing. Her latest album, Amazin, drops today and is the 5th studio album for the southern diva. Honey Magazine spoke with Trina and she dished about a lot of things, including her boo Kenyon Martin, working with Nicki Minaj, the leaked photos, future projects and more.
Honey Magazine: This is your fifth album. Are you excited about the release of the new album Amazin’?
Trina: I’m very excited. I worked really hard on the album. I just wanted to make records that were relative to where my life is right now. It was about just having fun, and being happy, and love. Evolving as a woman. It’s been pretty amazing.

Million Dollar Girl” is a different kind of record for you. How have you evolved from the very first single with Trick Daddy to now?
I’m at a good place. Before when I stared, it was just a new face, a new girl. I did a record with Trick. It was very provocative. It was just getting on the record and talking trash, and then I started knowing more and growing more, learning different things about the business. A lot of times as an artist you don’t get to do what you want to do because the label wants to have so much control. This time I had a lot of control to step outside and do what I want to do.

People always say you and Nicki have beef. What was your response to her last line in “5 Star Chick” when she says ‘Ask Lil Wayne who the five-star bitch is’?
There is no drama. There has no reason to be no drama. I’ve never done anything to her and she’s never done anything to me. Drama comes from conflict of interest. I saw you in the street. You said something I didn’t like. That’s drama. The rest of that is erroneous information. As far as [Nicki Minaj’s] verse — I was on the record first. When I heard [Nicki’s lyrics], that’s how she feels. Wayne is the CEO of the label that she’s on and I guess that is her way of saying let him solidify to people that she’s a five-star chick. I did my verse being totally me who I am, just being me, and talking slick.

Should 'Basketball Wives' Gloria Govan Even Be On The Damn Show.....

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

......because apparantly her man, Matt Barnes, doesn't like it at all. I appreciate the fact that Gloria appears to have morals and has a "positive" outlook on her relationship with her Orlando Magic basketball fiance. But the show obviously focuses on the DRAMA. They should have put her groupie sister on the show. Clearly, Gloria is the most level-headed of the castmates....but she signed on anyway. She surely wouldn't want her "perfect" relationship to be tainted. Matt Barnes is disgusted with the show (although he agreed to be a part of it) and this is what he had to say (via a radio interview):
I wasn’t 100% against it at the beginning. It started back in Phoenix when Shaunie O’Neal approached my fiancee about it and I was really apprehensive about it. Then they kept approaching fiancee Gloria about it back and forth back and forth and I was really against it but my fiancee talked to the producers and felt good about it so I definitely backed her.

But after watching the first show I was just disgusted. I told my team because you know [my teammate] Dwight’s involved in that too that I’m not watching that because I know it’s going to make me mad and I’m going to watch it at the end of the season. I just think that what they say is going to happen and what actually happens is two different things.

Reality TV is kind of a joke. Everything is scripted. There is nothing reality about Reality TV. With that said, I’ll kind of leave it at that but if you want to have me back on at the end of the season when I won’t get fined for what I say, I’ll definitely tell you what I think about that.
Hmmm! Well its a little too late for that!

Ray J Calls Leaked Celeb Nude Photos A "Trend"

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Ray J spoke about how he feels about the tidal wave of celebrity leaked photos. As a man with a sex-tape and a reputation for being a slut womanizer, is he really entitled to say a damn thing? He also states that he has gotten explicit offers in the past. Hmmm.
First off, if you want to keep your stuff private then you can’t have nude photos in your portfolio. You can't have that on your computer. That’s the first way to stay away from it: Don’t do it. And then the second thing is don’t do it. Lol.

People can always find a way to get it out because sometimes you might have a best friend or a righthand that you get into it with and they could’ve had that footage and you telling them how you feel about them and you ain’t gon' never deal with them and Eff you and then the next thing you know, boom there it is.

So you never know. My advice is don’t do it if you ain’t trying to get caught up.
Now, it’s a trend. Back then it was for real. It was something that really had to happen for it to be explosive. Now, people can tell a trend from something else. Sometimes people are doing it for publicity but if you doing it for publicity you better look good! That’s all I’m saying. I’ve seen a couple of them because I’m 18 and over and when I looked, it said, "Click if you’re 18 and over," so I was like, Yep I’m cool, and then I clicked it.

It’s all about how you deal with it. With me, I had a lot of explicit offers come to the table with a lot of money being offered to me and I could’ve been blinded by the money as far as traveling down that road and then I think for sure career over. But it’s just all how you deal with it. If you learn from it and try to move on and do things that’s are more positive in your career and not suck yourself into the negativity, I think that’s how you overcome that.
 Agree/Disagree?

Lauren London Speaks....Finally! (Video)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Since giving birth Lauren London has been pretty much MIA and for good reason, tending to her baby boy. She spoke with Quddus on Access Hollywood about Lil Wayne, being a mother, how it has changed her and people all up in her business.

A lot of people will look at her now as just ONE of Weezy's babymama's though, sadly.

Nicki Minaj Dishes About Her Father Attempting To Kill Her Mother, Tending To Younger Fans And More

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

In a recent interview with Details Magazine, Nicki Minaj spoke candidly about some things including her father's drug abuse, attending to her younger fans and being bi-sexual.
Details: Your father set fire to your home when you were a kid in Queens, New York. What happened?

Nicki Minaj: He drank a lot and did drugs, and he would get violent when he did. When he set fire to the house, he was attempting to kill my mother. She got out before it burned all the way down. I’ve always had this female-empowerment thing in the back of my mind—because I wanted my mother to be stronger, and she couldn’t be. I thought, “If I’m successful, I can change her life.”

Details: As an openly bisexual rapper, do you think hip-hop is getting more gay-friendly?

Nicki Minaj: I think the world is getting more gay-friendly, so hip-hop is too. But it’s harder to imagine an openly gay male rapper being embraced. People view gay men as having no street credibility. But I think we’ll see one in my lifetime.

Details: As younger and younger fans come to your shows, do you feel pressure to tone down the racier elements of your persona?

Nicki Minaj: I do. I’m a role model now. I didn’t know I was gonna have 13-year-old fans, so I’ve tried to change a few things here and there. But I also know that the girls don’t want me to be Miley Cyrus, either.
Check out more of the interview HERE!

Lil Wayne's Babymama Sarah Wants To Let You Know....

Sarah Vivan (most known to the world as just one of Weezy's babymamas) is now a blogger for one of my favorite sites Global Grind. She decided to let the world get a better insight as to who she is and this is what she had to say via her blog:
"My name is Sarah ViVan.  I am a 22-year-old native of Cincinnati.  As an aspiring fashion stylist currently residing in Atlanta, I have two beautiful children, Essence and Dwayne.  You may know me through my ties to one of the most influential artists of our time.  In 2008, Lil Wayne and I welcomed our precious son into the world.  Dwayne III, AKA "Lil Tune Chi," is a blessing that we both cherish.  Although Wayne is a significant part of my life, up until this point, that is all the public has known of me.  But now I think it’s only fair that I introduce you all to the creative, passionate, intellectual, and playful woman that is Sarah ViVan.  I am so honored and excited to blog for the Global Grind community. I see GG as a culturally forward movement, and the opportunity to express my views through such a mainstream outlet is incredibly humbling."
"Through this blog, I hope to bring my readers, entertainment, as well as, insight on my views dealing with numerous topics from the perspective of a mother, stylist, and young Asian-American woman.  Living in a society where it is increasingly important that we voice our opinions, I would encourage that we do so in a constructive manner.  In other words, don’t count on me bashing anyone. This is a "hater-free" zone. ;-)  I also aim to keep you informed on my upcoming projects.  As a creative individual, I have interest in several areas pertaining to the arts, so look out for me to broaden my focus and not limit myself to just styling.  Keeping all of this in mind, I invite you back every week to tune into my blogs, and hopefully, I can inform, entertain, and inspire my peers."
