It's been a loooong time since I did a post just asking random questions that really make me wonder. As a person who observes a lot of sh*t, I had to do another one. So here goes!

1. Why are chicks wearing uggs (and busted uggs at that) in 80 degree weather? Yea, it's pretty damn hot in NYC.

2. If Mariah Carey is pregnant, why hide it like it's not gonna be found out? Hiding it just draws MORE attention....or does she want the extra attention?

3. How many different color bob wigs does Nicki Minaj have? There was blond, green, orange, and a white/turquoise mix. WTF?

4. Why is Kat Stacks still talking sh*t and acting like she's a thug? She obviously didn't learn her lesson. I dont condone hitting women at ALL but #imjussayin.

5. Why am I still seeing people with Boost phones? It's 2010.

They say that females tend to harvest bitterness from previous experiences, mainly relationships more so than men (debate on that), but we all know men carry that around as well. Yeah this is the guy who is always yapping about his ex-girl. When you ask him are you over her? He swears he is but then proceeds to continue to talk ish about her on your dates with him. To the point where you want to yell: I don’t want to hear about this chick!

2. He does not want to do the simple things for you.

 
He fears that any form of him giving in the slightest would mean that he is engaging in the act of giving of himself. He does not want to give too much of himself or anything at all to any woman because some chick from his past used him. So now he barely wants to hold the door open for you. Don’t let the door hit you in the face girl.

3. He tries to devalue the impact that a good woman can have in his life.

This is the type that has a grudge against all women and refuses to believe that there are any good women in the world. So, this gives him the freedom to treat chicks any way they please guilt free.

Question Of The Day: Would You Take A Cheating Boyfriend/Girlfriend Back?

 

Now, before you answer that question truthfully, take into consideration a few things:

•  The amount of time invested in the relationship
• Are there kids involved?
• Could you imagine your life WITHOUT that person?

Many people, especially females, say that if they ever caught their partner cheating -- they asses would be out the damn door and never look back. But the reality is, many actually stay (for a number of different reasons). Some stay because the cheating partner is taking care of them financially or because they've been together for years and years.

Honestly, if you ever caught your partner cheating -- what would you do?

Tiger Woods, Are We Trippin Off Him Cheating Or His Image?

I will say that I was shocked when I first found out about Tiger Woods and his infidelity. Now finding out there are at least 10 women who claim to have been with him during his marriage has definitely got me trippin. But I'm not so sure if its because he cheated (because lets keep it real) or if its because of this image he portrayed all these years. You look at Tiger Woods and see a man who is wholesome, intelligent and pretty much a goody two-shoes. Before this scandal, I never EVER heard anything negative about him.

Here's the latest on Tiger:

--Tiger is offering his wife $5 million to stay at this moment, but the amount can go up to $80 million (prenups and all).

--10 women have come forward claiming to have been with him during his marriage (3 of them have not yet been identified).

This is a video of one of his jump-offs. She claimes "he just used me for sex". Smh, what ELSE could he have been using you for?

So most of you have heard that Fantasia got a tattoo on her shoulder of her boytoy's name. His name is Antwaun Cook. Keep in mind this man was married with a child and she allegedly still dated him. She has since denied that the tattoo was real. Bullshit...with a capital B.

Anyway, I wanna know would you go that mile and put your special someone's name on your body? I'm not gonna lie, I've thought about it. Some say its the stupidest thing you could ever do, and some say that's one of the most profound ways to show you love someone (other than marriage).

Debate: 90's RnB or Today's RnB?

Let me say that I am a RnB chick all the way. Yea, I love Hip-Hop, but let me hear a RnB song that puts in the zone and I will listen to it a million damn times. There's been a debate for a long time as to which era of music is better -- 90's or now.

In the 90's, RnB was the SHIT. Everyday, I find myself takin' it back, listening to SWV, Xscape or older Mary J. songs. Its that feeling that you get when you hear it. To this day, "Who Can I Run To" by Xscape, "Just Wanna Please You" by Mona Lisa, "Why I Love You So Much" by Monica are still my fave songs. You had the men killin it too, like R. Kelly's "I Cant Sleep" or Dru Hill's "These Are The Times". Damn, I miss those days.

Today, music is definitely different. Of course as time evolves, so will else everything in the world. Dont get me wrong, there are songs that come out now and I'm like "wow, that's that shit". But the quality to me, is not the same. Back then, you had actual SINGERS, not just pretty faces or the ability to move. And the lyrics were deeper, had more meaning.

But, I will always love RnB, no ands, if or big ass buts about it.

Now I pass the debate onto you -- which do you like better?

I have to say that I absolutely LOVE all those who support my blog. I have people that literally come thru EVERYDAY and that makes me feel like a million bucks. I've had this site running for about 5 months now and already have a great deal of people who give me feedback and I cant thank you enough.

I never even thought blogging would be something that I'd actually ENJOY but I do and I dont give a damn if I have to be up at 6am to post something, I will. I try my hardest to jazzy stuff up here...make it look as lively as possible and the compliments are awesome.

I like to focus on other things (not JUST gossip or whose got an album coming out, etc.). I like including you guys. Thats why I do posts like "Style Wars" or "Bad, Badder, Baddest" cause I LOVE hearing your input on things. I'm always looking for ways to make MISSAMAZIN.COM better and I'm open to ideas at any time.

7 Things A Sistah Should Not Do

I was doin' my daily browsing of the net and came across this list of behaviors a black woman shouldn't do. This is not a verbal attack on anyone and I feel like this pertains to ALL women, but shiiieet I agreed with just about every damn one of them.

1. Booty Tootin'.
Basically makin' the fact that you MAY have an ass even more obvious. I see a lot of chicks doin this shit. We know you have an ass...damn.

2. Showing Your Stomach When You Shouldn’t Be.
I'm not tryna see your birthing history on ya stomach. If you done had 'bout 2-3 C-sections, cover that shit up. If you rockin that muffin top, dress in a way that still makes you look sexy, but not TRASHY.

3. Wearing Extra Tight Ass Clothes.
This is another thing that blows mine. If you a size 14 tryna get in a size 10, not goin happen. You just look ridiculous. This can be in conjuction with #2 also. Stop wearing smedium shirts if you are a large. Just accept the size you are or lose weight. Some women dont need to wear certain shit.

4. Crazy Colors In Your Hair.
Its cool to want to experiment with different shades of hair coloring, but if you rockin bright ass pink hair or got orange and blue track pieces, you look like a damn fool. I dont give a damn what nobody say.

5. Yelling At Your Kids Like They're Grown Ass People.
I'll be the first to admit that kids sometimes make you wanna pull your hair out. As a child care worker, I deal with it all the time. BUT, kids are gonna be kids. Its usually those young ass mothers (17-21), that scream and rant at they kids for the smallest, dumbest shit. Little Trayquan has to use the bathroom or gets some juice on his new outfit and you start actin a damn fool, cursin' and carrying on. You were a kid once, you probably did far worse.

6. Having An Unexplainable/Unnecessary Attitude.
There's always that one damn chick that has to be a complete and utter bitch. I'm keepin it real. She just has this "I'll whoop ya ass" for no reason attitude. Grumpy and irritable just because you wanna be a bitch. Cut that shit out. Yes, there are many things that stress us out, but to take it out on the WHOLE WORLD aint necessary. You dont have to pull that card all the time, if NEED BE however, then go 'head and do the damn thing.

7. Being Obnxiously Loud.
We hear what the hell you saying. Why oh why must you be so damn loud. I hate that with a passion. I can't even begin to tell you the number of times I've been somewhere and the loud ass person who is talking has inevitably drawn me into the conversation because they're talkin' like they're at a damn concert. Examples of loud for no reason females, comedian Mo'Nique and NeNe from "Real Housewives of Atlanta". Usage of celebrities is so that you can understand where the hell I'm comin from. Tell me they aint some loud for nothing females.

Nail Overkill

Ok, I've never been a "nails" kinda chick. I make sure my simple mani lookin right, but all that extra shit aint my cup of tea. Maybe I cant really "appreciate" this fuckery because I'm not into dramatic nails. Like for real tho, how do you wipe ya ass PROPERLY with that on ya tips? I've done the short nails and I was tired of them after bout 3 days.

We Remember 9.11.01

Can't believe its been 8 years now. I remember that tragic day. The school year had recently just begun and I was a sophomore in high school. It was during the first few minutes of second period when the principle came on the loud speaker and told all the students to evacuate the building. I went to Murry Bergtraum High School, which was literally 3-4 blocks away. It was weird because I remember feeling the building shake a bit, thats how close the school was. As soon as I got outside, I saw the cloud of smoke. I didnt realize what was goin on at the time, I just thought it was a big fire. Then I started hearing the kids say that there was an explosion at the world trade center. I couldnt believe it. My mother called me on my cell phone about 5 minutes later and told me to come straight to her job, which was on 16th St. I was so scared getting on the train, cause by then I was hearing a whole bunch of different stories. I get to her job and she just hugged me for dear life. I was like "mom, what is goin on". And she told me a plane hit the building. She knew how close I was to the towers and was glad I was ok.

We started listening to the news and they said it was a terrorist attack. I was scared as I dont know what. I never thought I would experience something like that. From my mother's job, there was a clear view of the smoke and the twin towers. Not soon after I got there, the second plane flew into the second tower. I couldnt believe it. That is a day I will never, ever forget.
