The whole idea of this creepy shoot is that you have to have tough skin to be on the entertainment industry. Ex video vixen Melyssa Ford teamed up with Derek Blanks to portray that image. She supposedly came up with this idea while hiking and wanted it to be brought to life. Via her Global Grind blog, she stated:
All of us know what it feels like to have to “turn the other cheek” or “be the bigger person” or “turn a blind eye and ear to their critics and the nay-sayers”… I OVER-stand this concept, hence my visual interpretation of the reality: that we all hurt and are not immune to the pain caused by harsh judgment.
My thing is, if this is suppose to portray that type of message (which I think is a good one), do you think showing ya ass is going to get that message across MELYSSA?

Exactly, it's not gonna, but her concept probly was to say that Thick skin is sexy and has some great physical features which we should be proud of rather than wanting to be thin-skinned and just hurting ourselves to be perfect. I kinda see a message here.
Weird but I kinda see the point but she could have came up with a different concept. The focus is on her booty rather than thick or thin skin.
