Miami Madness: Keri Hilson & "Basketball Wives" Evelyn, Shaunie Party @ LUX; Diddy/Dirty Money @ Florida Marlins Game

It went down in Miami this weekend. Many celebs got their party on from Keri Hilson, who hosted an event with the 400 Club at LUX to "Basketball Wives" chicas Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie O'Neal. Keri looked cute in her summery multi-colored sleeveless dress and cute makeup.

I Refuse To Believe....

....that "Basketball Wives" Evelyn Lozada's daughter is only 17 years old. She look older than her damn mama. Evelyn had another event at her Dulce Shoe Boutique last night in Cora Gables, FL.  She showcased her new shoes from Georgina Goodman along with co-star Suzie Ketcham and daughter Shaniece.

Gloria Govan (Of VH1's "Basketball Wives") Sheds Light On Her Relationship, The Other Castmates And More

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Gloria Govan, the youngest "basketball wife", may come off as the naive, black sheep of the bunch but she makes it clear she has things handled. The 24-year old mother of two and fiance of Orlando Magic player Matt Barnes talked to VH1 about her relationship, her castmates, both her and Matt's dislike of the show and more.
On her thoughts of the show and how she is portrayed:
I didn’t know the women coming into the show, so I think sometimes I may come off a little naive. I may come off as the shy-girl-in-the-background type, which is not my personality at all. I’ve never had a problem telling anybody how I feel. On the show, though, I’m being me, 100 percent real the whole time so there’s no surprises. I haven’t seen any surprises.

On being called naive by Shaunie O'Neal:
I think it’s unfortunate. I don’t think I’m naive whatsoever. For me to say that I’m the only person that Matt’s ever been with, that would be naive. But I know the man that I’m with. We have our ups and we have our downs just like everybody else does. We’ve made mistakes but we’ve grown from them and moved past them, but I definitely wouldn’t say I’m naive. I’m aware that Matt is surrounded by groupies, being away from home as often as he is, but I know the kind of man I’m with and I trust him.
On Evelyn & Jennifer saying Matt is unfaithful:
You have these grown women who have been in the game for so long, and you would think they would say, “Hey listen, Gloria, I’ve been there done that for the past 10 years and here are my stories, here is my advice, take it for what it’s worth and good luck.” Instead they have to be so persistent and try to taint our relationship. I look at it as being bitter and jealous. I’m 10 years younger than most of the cast members on the show, I’m 24-years-old, and I’m in a respectful, loving relationship, I’m getting married in August, I have two beautiful kids and a family who loves me, and a lot of them are missing a majority of those components. It’s natural for them to be envious of what I have.

Should 'Basketball Wives' Gloria Govan Even Be On The Damn Show.....

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

......because apparantly her man, Matt Barnes, doesn't like it at all. I appreciate the fact that Gloria appears to have morals and has a "positive" outlook on her relationship with her Orlando Magic basketball fiance. But the show obviously focuses on the DRAMA. They should have put her groupie sister on the show. Clearly, Gloria is the most level-headed of the castmates....but she signed on anyway. She surely wouldn't want her "perfect" relationship to be tainted. Matt Barnes is disgusted with the show (although he agreed to be a part of it) and this is what he had to say (via a radio interview):
I wasn’t 100% against it at the beginning. It started back in Phoenix when Shaunie O’Neal approached my fiancee about it and I was really apprehensive about it. Then they kept approaching fiancee Gloria about it back and forth back and forth and I was really against it but my fiancee talked to the producers and felt good about it so I definitely backed her.

But after watching the first show I was just disgusted. I told my team because you know [my teammate] Dwight’s involved in that too that I’m not watching that because I know it’s going to make me mad and I’m going to watch it at the end of the season. I just think that what they say is going to happen and what actually happens is two different things.

Reality TV is kind of a joke. Everything is scripted. There is nothing reality about Reality TV. With that said, I’ll kind of leave it at that but if you want to have me back on at the end of the season when I won’t get fined for what I say, I’ll definitely tell you what I think about that.
Hmmm! Well its a little too late for that!
