Weekend Sightings: Tiny, T.I., Rihanna

Newly wedded couple T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle hit up the AXE Lounge in the Hamptons friday night (August 13). While there, T.I. announced that he is performing a secret show to kick off the "AXE Music One Night Only" concert series in Manhattan. I really love seeing these two together.

Rihanna, who went with the black theme over the weekend was spotted out and about (with her new tattoo on her neck) in NYC and as she prepared for her Last Girl On Earth tour shows around NY.

Rihanna, Red And Lime Green Don't Mix

Rihanna, sporting her fiery red hair in a bobcut, was spotted leaving Da Silvano restaurant with boyfriend Matt Kemp yesterday (August 9). She opted to wear a bright lime green outfit O_o. I don't know if it's the hair or the outfit that's throwing me completely off.

Who Wore It Better: Rihanna vs. Trina (Dolce & Gabbana Polka Dot Jumpsuit)

Both Trina and Rihanna wore this one-piece Dolce & Gabbana jumpsuit from its Pre-Fall 2010 Collection last week. Rihanna wore it to her after party in West Hollywood and Trina wore it last night when she attended a gay pride event in Detroit. They both opted for the black pumps to finish off the outfit.

Style Jury: Rihanna Rocks Polka Dots

Rihanna opted to rock a one-piece polka dot jumpsuit to the exclusive after party for her L.A. show hosted by Asics and Drai's Hollywood at Drai's Hollywood last night (July 21). Call me crazy but I think she looks cute....but then again I'm a fan of color anyway. She kept the jewelry at a minimal, accentuated the jumpsuit with a black belt, the black pumps are hawt and the red hair is growing on me. Style Jury, what do you think?

On The Set: Rihanna x Eminem Film Video For "Love The Way You Lie"

Rihanna is really on her bad girl ish for the video "Love The Way You Lie" featuring bad ass himself Eminem. The collaboration between the two heavyweights has reached No. 1 on the charts. Rihanna gets things ablazin', sporting her fiery red hair and black military boots in the video which is being filmed in Los Angeles right now. Can't wait to see it. Celebs Out And About: Rihanna Does Leather, Mya Goes Blond

Rihanna, who rocked an over the shoulder one-piece leather dress with beige Louboutins, was spotted leaving Ago Restaurant with friends last night in West Hollywood (July19). Hope she didn't break a sweat in all that leather. After the restaurant, she headed to the Record Plant recording studios to squeeze in some late night studio hours.

 Singer Mya, whose been M.I.A. lately, was spotted at the Carrera Sunglasses Party in Miami sporting some blond curls. Cute. Do we want to hear more music from Mya? Yes? No? Indecisive?
 

 

Weekend Ish: Performance Mania -- Jay Z, Kelis, Monica, Keri Hilson + Rihanna Spotted In Vancouver

 The Fourth of July weekend was filled with festivity after festivity, especially in the entertainment world. There were many performances all around and of course many celeb sightings. Jay-Z performed live on the Main Stage during Day 3 of the Wireless Festival in Hyde Park in London, England (July 4). Beyonce was in the stands of course, cheering for her man.

Kelis, looking crazy as usual, performed at T4 On The Beach in Weston-super-Mare, England (July 4). That orange lipstick (especially) is killing me. 

Rihanna Is So In Love

Rihanna and her baseball player boyfriend, Matt Kemp, were spotted showing some PDA at an AT&T store shopping for the new iPhone4 in Westwood (June 24). They seem to genuinely be happy with each other so more power to them.

Rihanna Likes Cake Mix And Downy...

A bare faced, heel-less Rihanna shows that celebrities are regular people too -- they grocery shop. She was spotted at Gelson’s Supermarket in Los Angeles yesterday (June 22), picking up some things including chocolate cake mix, coconut water and cleaning items. Oh, but trust before she got her groceries (with bodyguard in tow).....she hit up Saks Fifth Avenue.

Coupled Up: Rihanna x Matt Kemp

Rihanna and her boyfriend Matt Kemp were spotted leaving Philippe Chow's restaurant in West Hollywood last night (June 21). They've been able to spend some time together while Rih is on her tour break and Matt is in between games. I can imagine having the paparazzi around all the damn time can be a pain in the ass, cause they BOTH look annoyed.

Rihanna, WTF Are You Wearing?

I always praise Rihanna on her fashion sense, but I am highly disappointed in what she was wearing when she arrived at Barbados International Airport earlier today (June 16). She was greeted by her mother (who we rarely see). I can understand being comfortable but everything was just WRONG with this outfit. Even her barely there red hair is starting to annoy the sh*t outta me.

.....cause this bish is always steppin' out in something hawt. She was spotted doing some shopping with her bestie Melissa in Los Angeles....and with a fresh pair of Christian Louboutin Clou Noeud spike heels on her feet. I see you Rihanna.

Did Rihanna Play Drake?

On his Thank Me Later album, Drake's song "Fireworks" has a verse about Rihanna, who asked him to write a song for her new album (which never got released). The two soon began seeing each other regularly and even had a make-out session at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge in New York last year, though they never publicly confirmed their brief relationship. In the track, he says:

 “I could tell it wasn’t love, I just thought you’d fuck with me/ Who could’ve predicted Lucky Strike would have you stuck with me, damn/ I kept my wits about me luckily, what happened between us that night, it always seems to trouble me/ Now all of a sudden these gossip rags wanna cover me, and you makin’ it seem like it happened that way because of me/ But I was curious, and I’ll never forget it baby, what an experience/ You could’ve been the one, but it wasn’t that serious.”

He explains what happened between them. “I was a pawn,” he candidly tells The New York Times. “You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, ‘Wow, this feels terrible.’”

In the Times article, it reveals that the song "The Resistance" is about an accidental pregnancy with a woman he was briefly involved with, who chose to end the pregnancy.

Rihanna dressed, dare we say it, CASUAL at a recent trip to Cipriani Restaurant in London. She had a dinner meeting with Akon and LA Reid. She rocked a Trapstar Sweatshirt (a London-based brand), M.O.B (Most Official Bitch) Metallic Cap ($35), J Brand Leggings ($249) and Christian Dior Sprint Black Leather Sneakers ($585).
